Which is the best compact tractor company?
John Deere, New Holland, or Mahindra. And pull the plug on me by either true facts or experience. Or something else. And provide facts behind your answer. Also tell me which one has the overwhelm customer satisfaction, overall quality, best support, most power, and entire best out of the 3.
John deere most valuable has the most dealer support though
probably built the best I never heard any thing bad but the pricetag
New holland about as good nearly as much dealer support somewhat cheaper
Mahindra I skilled in verry little on
There are also Montana and McCormick allthough they are a bit more obscure and montana is comming out of nowhere to be a vital player
Overall I'd have to say john deere if I had the money I'd get one of theese allthough there subcompacts seem a bit more like a big riding mower I'd also by any chance consider mc cormick or montana for a machine in the 23-35 Hp range they are smaller but seem to have a heavier trap
Kubotas I hear are a pain to get parts for and their dealer intranet strcuture needs employment
also depends on what your useing it for be shure to share this with your dealer
What is a reliable, cost effective compact tractor?
China made tractors
chi shou?
I have purchased property that will require at lease a compact tractor-any-body know about used Mitsubishi's
Rather than win a new unit I'm looking for a used one--I like the Kubota tractors--they show up to be of a comfortable size. These units are expensive and I am looking for a used unit of some epitome. Some say, stay away from those tractors that are hard to get parts for as-Mitsubishi, Ford etc yet these units are the most public in the used market under 2,500.00.
I can purchase a used (2yr. old),Husqvarna lawn tractor , 21hp w/48"cut for $900.00--is that fitting-for 2.5 acres?
Yes the Husqvarna green tractor will be fine for just mowing 2.5 acres.
You may also consider your terrain and climate ailing.
For example, if you have steep hills or creeks or rocks or sand or snow or ice.
You may find that some Husqvarna greensward tractors are built buy a common manufacturer.
I do not consider them a heavy duty constantly use type of tractor.
What 21hp engine is it - the kawasaki or kohler?
If you can find a good Kubota and can afford it - do it,,,,,
