I have tried this item in a variety of suitable places in my car. I have changed the settings as suggested in the accompanying directions. No matter what I do I cannot get it to work. It would have been helpful to know that very specific locations inside the car are necessary for this item to work accurately.

I'm always going north or west- work for the 1st few weeks and now doesnt work at all- don't waste your money!
